Sentosa Island is the premier destination in Singapore. If you've been to Sentosa, you probably know by now that a day's visit is not enough. Here are some exciting places to visit while in Singapore.
Resorts World Sentosa
An integrated resort, this attraction houses some of the biggest attractions on the island such as S.E.A. Aquarium, Dolphin Island, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Universal Studios, says Sentosa Online Store. Resorts World takes up the largest parcel of the island, and it's the first thing you'll see, so you can't really miss this.
Tiger Sky Tower
Considered as the highest observatory tower in Singapore at 131 meters above sea level, the tower overlooks not just Singapore, but also Malaysia and Indonesia. It is the best way to view the entire island, too.
What is a visit to Singapore without seeing the Merlion? The structure, which is 37 meters tall, is the symbol of Singapore's prosperity. Things you can do in here are collecting prosperity coins and ringing the prosperity bell. You can even look over the city through the lion's mouth.
Skyline Luge Sentosa
Another favourite thing to do in the island is riding the luge. It is a chairlift that allows you to see the different sides of Sentosa Island. You can either ride the luge from Imbiah Lookout that heads to the beach or ride back to Imbiah from the beach.
Malaysian Food Street
Also called as The Bull Ring, this food strip is a haven for seafood lovers. You can dine al fresco style after buying from any of the street stalls and coffee shops. The ambience is totally laidback.
These are the five of the must-try and must-visit places in Sentosa Island. You cannot say you have the best of what the island has to offer if you have not tried any or all of these.
