Intravenous (IV) Sedation

This involves inhaling nitrous oxide (also known as happy or laughing gas) to make you feel relaxed. If you’re comfortable wearing a mask and breathing through your nose throughout the procedure, then you’re good for this method. It’s also advisable for children who are moderately anxious or nervous for their treatment. The effects of nitrous oxide wear off quickly, so you don’t have to worry about side effects. You can flush out the remaining gas in your body by inhaling oxygen after treatment.
